1. Right price:

For both buyer and exporter price is the main thing to be considered because no one works for loss or no profit and both of them will have to act genuine. The exporter should give the best price, but not the lowest. And no more negotiation is done after production or shipment. Only under major crisis the exporter may seek for the negotiation with the buyer.

 

2. Right time:

The shipment of goods beyond the given time may lead to shortage of profit to the exporter and loss of promotion to the buyer. So delivered on given time may build good business relationship with the buyer.

 

3. Right place:

Most probably this term related to retail merchandising but delivering the goods to the exact destination without any problem is also a part of export merchandising.

 

4. Right Quality:

The quality may vary from buyer to buyer. Quality plays a vital role in pricing the product. So the exporter has to give the exact quality that the buyer needs. The buyer requirement may be high quality or normal quality or low quality and the job of the exporter is to provide the quality what the buyer requires. This is called as right quality.

 

5. Right quantity:

In any process it is difficult to gain 100% efficiency from human work. But the exporters have to deliver the right quantity to the buyer. This might be achieved by increasing the production rate level at 2 to 4%. The exporter may ship the goods with higher quantity (1 – 3%) but not the lower quantity.

 

6. Right code of conduct:

The buyers are more aware of the CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) of their exporter industry. Most of the buyers have their own code of conduct. Some of the parameter that CSR deals with policy on environment, labor, health care, women empowerment and so on.
